Our First Not For Profit of the Month: Featuring Shredability

By | Community, Enviroment, Food for thought, Giving Back, Not for Profit | No Comments

Shredability is a Not for Profit that creates jobs for individuals with a range of physical and mental disabilities. While their service as a secure document shredding and disposal company is top of the line, it is their business model that inspired WE to feature them as our very first NFP of the month. We would like to use this opportunity to highlight various Not For Profits’ accomplishments and goals that are truly making a difference for their cause.

Shredability’s dedication to security, sustainability and social responsibility within their community is unmatched in their industry, as well as many others. 80% of their current employees have a developmental disability and under the support of their parent company, AHRC New York City, they are able to continue their pledge to generate jobs for those with innate disabilities.

Shred ability is also committed to creating an environmentally friendly impact by constructing beneficial post-consumer products through their recycled paper.

They are a remarkable and innovative example of positive community and environmental impact that WE is proud to support on an ongoing basis.
